Adorable book featuring Flap, Feather, and Spike.
This is a My First book for shared reading. Nice, simple sentences and a simple story. Good repetition without making the book boring. Very cute illustrations. I liked the message about making sure everyone is comfortable and having fun. Nice problem-solving.

Spike, Feather, and Flap are all prepared for an exciting day. However, with the cold weather, the two ducks are not sure they can handle it. From skating to sledding and even simply gazing at the snow, things are just too cold for them, wile Spike seems to thrive in the weather. Before they become ducksicles, Spike helps his adopted siblings warm up with outerwear, just as Momma arrives with a special treat. Neo took the lead with this story and did so well. We’ve not read the other pieces in this collection, but may well have to search them out in order to really see what Duck, Duck, Dinosaur is all about!
