Enjoyed this book the most so far. I actually really liked Tristan, he feels like the most realistic character so far and he actually had some emotional depth to him.

I even found Gabriel to be a likeable character in this book when I really didn't like his book at all.

- MMC's: Tristan, Zach
- POVs Included: Multiple POVs (Tristan, Jared, Zach, Gabriel)

-----------------------------------

SUMMARY: (SPOILER WARNING)

Tristan is a professional footballer (soccer) and Gabriel's adopted brother (from Just a Bit Unhealthy). He's suffering from his third groin injury and Jared has called in a friend of his to help with his physiotherapy because of how understaffed they are.

Tristan is pissed and wants nothing to do with Zach. But he isn't expecting Zach to not crumble under his bratty attitude. And he's definitely not expecting to start to feel things for him.

Zach is engaged to a woman he's been good friends with for his whole life. But they've never been particularly passionate and have an open relationship until the wedding. But Tristan has been making him doubt the direction of his life and his sexuality as a straight man.

REVIEW:

I loved this one! Probably one of my favorites in the series so far.

The dynamic between Tristan and Zach was absolutely perfect.

Tristan is a big brat. But it wasn't in an annoying way to me because you can really tell he's trying to push people away to keep his emotions guarded. I also thought he was pretty funny and adorable.

And Zach is the perfect counterpart to Tristan's bratty ways. He's dominant and bossy and doesn't give Tristan an inch even when he's trying to push all his buttons.

Man the dynamic just worked so well. I adored their banter and love/hate thing going on.

I also loved the physical therapist trope. I haven't read too many romances with that trope. But it works! I could definitely see how they could grow close during that kind of rehabilitation.

I did feel absolutely terrible for what happened to Tristan and his football (soccer) career. But in the end I think he was more into the "love" he felt from his fans more than anything else. And I think he will get plenty of that moving forward with Zach.

I do hope that in the next book (about Zach's brother Ryan and Tristan's brother James), that Tristan and James finally talk and Tristan tells him he's his brother.

Overall the book was sweet and sexy and funny. I really enjoyed this one a lot!

MM Romance
Enemies To Lovers
5 stars!!

Finally!!! This is enemies to lovers done right! And for once AH didn’t leave me wanting or cursing her like when I read most of her books. This is the best one I’ve read in this series and it ticked off so many boxes of things I love in my books.

✅Enemies To Lovers
✅Angsty AF
✅Hot sex scenes
✅Light Kink-Spanking
✅Snark & Banter
✅Fighting becomes Fucking
✅Possessive & jealous MCs
✅Character Growth
✅Made me emotional
✅Past book character appearances

Because I hadn’t been reading this series in order, Tristan never bothered me but I will say he acted like a dick although I understood why. Deep down he just wants to be enough for someone, for someone to choose him, the real him but fuck being that vulnerable. Learning his backstory was quite sad and made so much sense as to why he acted out like he did. Seeing his reaction to certain things did make me a bit misty eyed. Then, Zach seemed so in control and calm when they first meet so watching him become unraveled was simply divine. I loved how they couldn’t stand each other yet couldn’t keep their hands off each other either. It made their encounters that much hotter.

What cracked me up the most though was Nick. I’ve read book 9, Just a Bit Gay, and nowhere in this does Nick seem like the same guy that was fucking Tyler.

First time I read this series I accidentally skipped this book and was too lazy to come back. I was unsure about this one because I really like Tristan as a character in this series but Zach is... not to my liking lol
This book was good. Not my fav but also not the worst. I wish we had Zach's pov to better understand how he was dealing with his instalust for Tristan.

There's something about Ms. Hazard’s books that makes it impossible for me to stop reading them. I did not expect to like this as much as I did. Tristan comes off as arrogant, prickly, manipulative - seemingly a horrible person. However, as you slowly get to know him you discover it's really just a defense mechanism. Zach was also interesting and I liked how much he cared for Tristan.
I feel like the series got back on track with Just a Bit Wrong. I swear, a spell has been cast on me. There is just something about this series that has a hold on me. I can't stop.

**I received a purchased copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.**

Tristan Duval is a moody, self righteous, self absorbed hurt football player. His team doctor finds him the best physiotherapist to help him recover. Tristan's goal is to be back in top shape for the World Cup. When he first meets, Zach, his physiotherapist, he's not impressed. Tristan is in the closet because of being a football player and is very discrete with his hook ups.

Tristan pushes every button Zach has, whether it's his complaining about his therapy, or that his rehab isn't going fast enough it's always something to drive Zach nuts. Zach is straight and engaged, but until that time of the wedding, he is in an open relationship.

I loved the angst, the back and forth, the way Zach can make Tristan "obey" when he is so used to being in control. This series has been great from book one. I can't wait to see what happens with Ryan and James in Just a bit Confusing.

No matter how many times I see an author skillfully write characters with interconnected stories, it’d always impress me.
