sat down on the floor of the bookstore and cried after reading this first poem. i am not a cancer survivor but i am a chronically ill person, and much of the language in this book was very applicable to my history, and it was both heartbreaking and wonderful to have some of my experiences and feelings reflected back to me with such beautifully crafted poetry.
