I quite enjoyed this but the unrealistic body images of the women were completely distracting and ridiculous.

omg i really like this. maybe because of the featuring characters i don't know i'm kind of a poison ivy trash. i also like the art, the coloring was amazing. i'm just not so sure if it had to be so... boob-y. because at some point, when lois was falling down i kind of cringed lol

Killer Croc, Catwoman, Poison Ivy and an unknown individual are involved in a kidnapping of a small boy for a million dollars. The trail leads Batman and Catwoman to Metropolis which involves Batman fighting a Poison-Ivy-controlled Superman. Good story about the importance of friendship; Tommy Elliot, Catwoman, Superman, Perry White, Huntress, etc.

Definitely not the best Jeph Loeb comic I've read, but it's still quite good. So far it feels like an excuse to cram as many characters as possible into one arc and, as a part time comics reader, I'm actually pretty into that since everyone seems to be characterized pretty well. I'm excited to see where the story goes (and who else plays a role) in the remaining volume.

Okay Batman story with pretty good art. A bit slow. I don't really buy the Bruce and Tommy relationship as kids. And I am still rooting for Tommy being a master of evil. But I'm reading this because this is a super popular graphic novel on Goodreads. And I guess I don't know why. We do get to see a tour of Batman bad guys including Killer Croc and Catwoman and Poison Ivy and Harlequin and even Joker. Hurrah? That doesn't a good story make. Batman gets thrashed in this one. And then basically gets back up and does it again, maybe not completely believable.

And I just read volume 2. Oh.
