What a powerful ending. Extremely sad but also hopeful.
I live in the States and has attended public education here, so unsurprisingly, I know very little about Indigenous history. Highly recommend this series. I miss it already.

I am so glad books like this exist; not only to protect indigenous/First Nation history but also to show that colonization never ended.
And I loved seeing Echo's character growth and her supportive and beautiful family. The artwork was lovely and done with a lot of sensitivity.
Even though this was a short series, I hope this isn't the last we will hear from the author and artists!
