I found another go to author!

I picked this book up on a whim after reading another book from this author. I have to say, that last minute decision isn't something I regret.

This follows our heroine Lottie, a woman jaded with her unfulfilling career and strained relationship with her parents. Every day after work, she stops at the subway station to listen to Logan, a street performer with whom she is captivated with. Little does she know, Logan himself has been noticing her and is entranced by her right back. One particular and tiresome evening when Lottie falls asleep at the station marks the start of romance so sweet it can tug on one's heart strings.

This book offers a very low angst, low stakes insta love romance. It is full of sweet moments with a kick of spice that are easy to get lost into. I have to admit though, if you are looking for a book that will blow your mind plot-wise, I don't think this is perfect book to satisfy that. I personally think the main plot and selling point here is the overall sweet and cuddly aspect of the romance.

I'm definitely going to dig into more of Melanie Moreland's backlist after this. I'm excited to read more from this author for those days when I just need a feel-good story that is relatively easy to fly through!
