Time Travel Entertainment

I am much like the author and wish to travel through time. However, I don't think I want to have as much excitement as poor Lucy. An enjoyable adventure, though you suspend disbelief a few times, and the ending is wide open for a sequel. Four stars.

What a great story! Not the ugly bits prior to her time travel, certainly, but that was just set up. The actual romance and her place in the castle were fascinating and I can't wait to read the next one.

Pretty idealistic but a cute, fluffy read nevertheless.

This was an accidental re-read for me. I had read the paperback years ago and picked it up again online on a whim.
Although the crazy fiance at the beginning is a little jarring, the relationship between the two MCs is sweet and built throughout the story, not a random love-at-first-discovery situation.
I like the journey that our female MC takes and the time travel elements that put her so out of her depth can be amusing.

A quick, enjoyable read. Some things were a bit hard to swallow, like Lucy's waking up with a dead man on top of her and being able to outrun seasoned fighters. Another thing I found ridiculous was her willing to dress up and pretend to marry someone she just ended a relationship with. No sane woman would have done that. I'm also a bit uneasy about her recreating things from her time (foods and crochet hook) because it would really muck up the timeline. But the story itself and the characters were engaging enough to make me want to finish the book and see what happens to her sisters back home after she made the decision to stay in the past with the man she loves.

A good distraction. By no means an amazingly written book but it was a fun concept and it was free on kobo. Might continue with the series if I can find them in the library.
