Sehr gut, aber der Schreibstil ist manchmal etwas wiederholend. Die Konflikte werden schnell gelöst, es gibt viele Szenen, wo die Protas glücklich zusammen sind.

The plot on this one was a little lackluster. The other in the series had a much stronger plot line. Like the main premise of the book is pretty much resolved right away and then you’re just wondering what is the point why are we continuing on. The “climax” was alright but was initiated/resolved almost immediately after it happened. Just didn’t hit the spot.

2.5 rounded up. Pretty basic OMV, but I love the adoption/caretaker trope, so I tried this one out. It's pretty insta-love-ish, and the pace felt off in some places. However, the MMCs were completely devoted and sweet once they made their choice, and that's always great to read. The FMC was supposed to be this strong character who took care of herself and never asked for help, but she just gave in and told these complete strangers her problems anytime they asked (with little to no coaxing) and then they fixed them for her. And she always had to mention how poor she was or how much she struggled to make ends meet, or how she grew up without parents because her mother left her with her grandma, like ok sis we got it the last five times you mentioned it. Like you can let these struggles be shown without the character having to tell us all the time. The characters really helped each other grow, but because the story gives us zero idea of how much time has passed at any given moment, it all seemed to happen too quickly for their feelings to develop into the kind of trust they said they had.
