This was a lovely and bubbly girl friendship story as you would expect from the cover and premise but one that also doesn't shy away from some heavy subjects such as sexual assault, idol culture and eating disorders and the trauma/complications that come with them. It's nonetheless relentlessly positive and very charming. I was not clear in what the story's reading of certain actions from the teachers that I read as hurtful were, it seemed to be somewhat defensive of them, but beyond that I really liked the story.

Tall girl supremacy!
Never read any Kageki Shojo! This is the first from what I can tell that makes it officially to the states.
SOOOO excited to read the main series now as it releases!
Sarasa is a great character and as the rest of the cast is introduced, Kumiko Saiki's skills really start to pop. Love it.
