think this was my favorite of the Bree Taggert series (Book #4 of 10). This one showed a lot more progress in the characters arches and revealed just how evil Bree's father was. Solving a cold case that wasn't taken seriously 30 years prior was an interesting storyline. As always it was really well written.

Skeletons and a squatter are found on Bree's old family property. Bree and Matt must solve the 30-year-old murder mystery that apparently is opening a new can of worms.

Another engaging installment for Bree and Matt. I continue to love how this author balances mystery and romance.

This has been the first book in the series I haven’t enjoyed. This one felt a bit slower for me. However, I do plan to continue with the series!
