I liked the writing style and most of the characters, especially the side characters. Jameson and Emily had good chemistry. However, I'm no fan of the way Jameson treated Emily throughout the whole book. He was too arrogant and never really focused on her wishes.
The storyline was interesting, even though talking could have easily solved some of the misunderstandings between the main characters.

Instant chemistry. Emily & Jay are cute enough for me to keep reading! Got it for free with my Amazon Prime benefits. Spice was definitely there ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ

Imma tell you right fucking now I HATE 3rd act breakups!! Good lord, and then he gets hit by a fucking car, youโ€™re fucking mental. Lol. But I finished reading cause I ainโ€™t no bitch. Jay was a spoiled dummy, but I did find him endearing enough towards Emily. It was definitely definitely toxic, but given how long he has gone without his behavior EVER being checked it was pretty okay. The plot twist of the employeeโ€™s stealing could have been handled a little better, but not terribleโ€ฆNot sure if I am hooked enough to keep going with the series tho.

If you like enemies-to-lovers for the bickering, check this one out. I swear, 75% of this book was either Jameson & Emily fighting or making up ๐Ÿ˜‰ The other part was a Emily & the Miles brothers trying to figure out who was feeding the competition insider secrets. I enjoyed this book and I canโ€™t wait to get to know the other Miles brothers, especially Tristian.

I picked this book up for a little lighthearted smut, and I was not expecting such an intense story of betrayal, sabotage, and corporate problems. This story follows Emily, who is upgraded to a first class seat on her flight from London to New York. She is fatefully sat next to Jamison, and they spend the entire flight flirting. The plane is forced to land in Boston because of a storm, and all the passengers have to spend the night in a hotel, which is music to Emily and Jamison's ears. They spend a sensual night together, planning to never see each other again, until Emily starts her new job at Miles' Media and discovers Jamison is the CEO.
Throughout the majority of the story I found Emily to be an entirely insufferable character. She was so whiney and expected way too much from Jamison without giving the same to him. My favorite elements of the story were Jamison's limited perspectives, and I think I would have enjoyed the story far more if the whole story was solely from his perspective. I also found their dynamic way too toxic to be a healthy relationship. They would fight over everything the other one would say.
