The audio book is a dream. The book reads like a documentary transcript, and the audio book has different actors for the different voices.
The story is told through the characters’ interviews which creates a beautiful, multifaceted perspective of the narrative, with raw emotions from all the characters. Very satisfying read.  Also the author has included the song lyrics of all the songs mentioned and I’m just obsessed with that kind of commitment and attention to detail.

The style is interesting, but difficult to connect with as it's all interview transcripts.  I didn't much like Daisy, but I felt like I was supposed to.  Nobody was very nice to anyone, and that always makes for a difficult book.  But I did like Karen, and also Camilla.

The reveal of who the interviewer is did make me go 'oh', although that was partly because I'd felt like we were building up to hearing that that character died!  So I misread that a bit as it went along I think!

It's really well crafted and constructed, it just didn't move me as much as I thought it might.

The ending was a bit anticlimactic, but the ride was a lot of fun. Manages to make selfish, drug-addled rock stars relatable and even, at times, likeable. An incredibly binge-able book with scenes stolen straight from Almost Famous and Free People catalogs. Did it blow my mind? No. Did it entertain me? Absolutely.

at  the beggining i was like "wowwww lets go  rock and roll" but then i was like "this   pretentious  people can never shut up" like yes i know this is a interview but still ... i was so annoyed with everyone...

Camila, Daisy and Karen deserve waaaayyyyy better.......

Hoping that the series is better tho
