The epilogue completely shattered an otherwise fantastic read. Dark and gripping to some sense of vindication gets shredded to ribbons in a convoluted gotcha twist ending that ruins otherwise decent characters and makes no logistical sense. Also the shoe thing was exhausting.

Read this for book club. It definitely made me cringe with the teacher student age gap situation, but I pushed past it and had to keep reading once I hit the half way mark. The second half of the book was chaotic and unhinged in a good way. Felt like I was reading a movie. Lol.

This is such an easy ready. And the plot twists just kept coming. I do have questions about the ending . 

 I should have checked the TW (which I have a bad habit of not doing) I really hate sexual content with minors.
