I love my little pony, and I was amazed when I found this comic at NetGalley. The original TV-show was entertaining and cute. The same cuteness is found in this comic, though I kind of wish it was one continuous story-line rather than a few separate stories.

The stories were nice and cute and well executed, with artwork that was very close to the TV-series. It was a quick and enjoyable read. Also I would like to defend the short story format, because it makes this comic ideal as a goodnight read to a child, you don't have to finish the whole book in one evening when it has natural stopping points.

#34 - I adore Cheese Sandwich and Pinkie Pie, but while their story had potential for some real sweetness, it was lacking in the art department and overall felt like it was missing something.

#35 - The second story is the weakest in this collection—I’ve never liked Fosgitt’s art style, and I feel like I’ve read this exact story many, many times before, where some magical threat is triggered/strengthened by hostility between ponies and they have to work together to stop it. It’s really uninspired, and the duo of Twilight and Starlight deserved something much less cliche.

#36 - Usually any story featuring Rainbow Dash is going to be a hard sell for me, but I enjoy Fleecs’s art and seeing some development for Soarin’ and Spitfire is pretty cool. A dangerous mountain outpost where pegasi go to prove themselves could honestly be a very promising setting for a lot more short stories!

#37 - Rarity always has great Friends Forever stories, and this is no exception. Pairing her with Trixie is obvious but fun, and I loved watching both of them grow. Trixie is especially sympathetic in this story and it’s great to see how well it fits into her development in the show.

#38 - Easily one of the best instalments in the series, and it makes perfect sense that they’d save the best for last! The dialogue is impeccable, the humor is great, and the sight gags and in-jokes are perfectly placed. Royal Sisters stories are always the funniest and most enjoyable and this was worth the wait!

Overall a pretty good collection! The first couple stories are a little weak but the last two, and especially the finale, more than make up for a rocky start.

Yesss! This is what I want! King Sombra is back, and with him other villains who all have a beef with our favourite ponies! There is so much cool stuff happening in this issue, but in fear of spoiling I won't say much more! Read it, it's awesome!

This book is pretty similar in style to the first volume of the series. It consists of four friendship stories featuring various characters in the My Little Pony universe. In this one, each story includes one (or more) of the Mane Six (Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Apple Jack, and Rarity) as well as a side character (Zecora, Trixie, and Princess Luna).

I feel pretty much the same about this volume as I did about the first. Overall, it's good. I prefer the comics that look more like the show (Tony Fleecs) rather than those that have their own style (Agnes Garbowska). There are a few weird things that seem inconsistent with the show (Rarity and Applejack really just stole a gyro-flyer!?). But the stories were all entertaining.

Good for MLP fans that enjoy graphic novels.

Same set-up as the first two book. Four stories that feature one (or two) of the Mane Six (Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie) as well as a side character (Iron Will, Spitfire). This one also included a story about Granny Smith and the Flim Flam Brothers, which I enjoyed. As much as I love the Mane Six, sometimes it's nice to see what the other characters are up to.

As with the other books, I prefer the art styles that are similar to the show (Tony Fleecs) and was really thrown off by the artists that used there own style for the characters (Jay Fosgitt's hardly even look like the characters and it drove me nuts).

Good stories, I liked the variety. Overall, another nice collection of stories for Pony fans.

Overall, I liked the stories in this book better than some of the previous volumes. As with the other books in the series, I preferred the artwork that was more consistent with the show. Brenda Hickey and Jenn Blake had the best artwork in my opinion (sorry, Agnes Garbowska).

I also think Jeremy Whitley and Bobby Curnow did a good job capturing the characters in the books. I could definitely see any of these stories happening in the show and the characters' reactions felt true to form. Some of the other stories in previous books seemed out of character, but I think all of these stick pretty closely to the show.

Good graphic novel for fans of My Little Pony.

Truth be told the first omnibus, rating each story individually gave me like 4.4 or something just under 4.5 and I just bumped it up to 4.5 anyway because I loved it over-all. This omnibus the average rating comes out to 4.63!

This is the first time I read this story and I liked it. It’s always a pleasure to read or re-read any of those books.
