I finished this a couple of days ago and I already kinda forgot what happened, OOPS.
Interesting premise, the twists were interesting. However, I didn't connect much with the characters and I cared little if they lived or died.
I most likely won't continue with this series.

At first this book annoyed me.Not cause it was bad or anything but they way they treated females. The first few chapters are filled fulled curiosity like whats happening here and tell me right this second, kind of mystery. Then you get into it,like really get there and fall in love with it.
The whole time you are reading is an adrenaline rush, you are reading but can't quite breather right. You feel like the answer is right a the tip of your tongue and you are going to call-it but its never quite right. And when you finally discover the truth you aren't ready.
Full of adventure, love, friendship, endurance, shocking truths, solid poker faces and all.Kick-ass females galore!!!!

Review does contain mild swearing
This book was an absolute rollercoaster! The beginning I wanted to just throw my phone across the room! The misogyny and racism were so prevalent that I wanted to scream at everyone in the book! The Infinite Wisdom my asshole. And what Deka went through made my heart absolutely bleed. She was so innocent and meek and closed off, and then what she suffered, ugh. I love that the author didn’t lose that throughout the story either. She didn’t just wake up one day, all healed and happy. Throughout the story, even as you watch her grow and become more sturdy in herself and what she is, she still suffered severe PTSD from it. And it was written in a way that I felt it every time. The pain, the betrayal, the loneliness. I respect Deka and I understood her confusion, her anger, her feeling outcast. I honestly don’t even know how to properly word the feelings I had about this book and Deka’s story. I will say, I can’t wait for the next one to come out. I need more of Deka, Britta, Keita, and Belcalis (if I remembered the spelling correctly)! Definitely a new favorite read!
