5 beautiful, huge, shining stars
I cannot believe this is the last book with the same characters. This book is definitely one of my favorites. It is raw, enticing, full to the brim with plot twists and amazing, vulnerable characters. I cannot put into words what the boys mean to me. But I'm going to try nevertheless.
So the things I loved about this book:
Every chapter ended in a plot twist. Whether it was Brenda's reappearance or It made the book so much more interesting and just amazing to be precise. That amounts to 73 times the story took an unexpected turn.
The sarcasm was just as big a part of this book than both the previous ones. I seriously love Dashner's sense of humor because it is not polite, it's bad ass and cutting. *I swear I am not evil, well, maybe a little*
I say this a lot but the freaking characters freaking destroyed my freaking emotions. Minho's hotness *fight me* Thomas's perseverance and hard decisions that he had to make *I wanted to hug him* Newt's mental deterioration *I wanted to punch a wall so freaking bad, why my baby? huh, whyyyyy?* Rat Man's stupid, arrogant, self-satisfied remarks and presence *Fudge, I wanted to kill him* and those Brenda+Thomas moments *UGHHHHHH, slay me*
In summation this book was light and dark, sad and happy *but sad mostly*, beautiful and melancholic and just pure work of art.
In tribute to all the fallen Gladers:
This world is a bucket of klunk, shuck-face. So peace out!

I hated this one! The author makes you love the characters that die and hate the characters that stay alive (*cough-Brenda). Also the whole point of the series never gets resolved. And the character of the chancellor is never developed, neither is Vince and he ruins the whole thing for no reason. You also never get to see Thomas' real memories, and if he had gotten them back he might have changed all that he did. So I think the series should have ended with book 2 and just had an extended ending.

What a ride. This book really solidified that Thomas is a runner because mans was just constantly on the move. I liked the way the trilogy was concluded.
Series ranking:
1. The Maze Runner
2. The Death Cure
3. The Scorch Trials

Newt’s death scene will haunt me forever, especially because the audiobook narrator did such a good job.Series ranking:

I really really loved the ending. While I disagree with Chancellor Paige for saying WICKED is good, I think some parts and some people of WICKED were good. Everything else about it sucked.
But I'm glad Brenda and Thomas ended up together. I even teared up when Teresa died. :/
