varför skriver hon
så här
hela
tiden?
som om hon
försöker få allt hon säger att verka
speciellt eller
banbrytande eller
tankeväckande eller
för att fylla ut
sidorna,
kanske?

den går ju inte att jämföra med första men helt ok antar jag

My rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Quick Overview:
This book follows Carrie Sinclair's experience at her family's private island as she navigates an addiction, loss of a loved one, a first romance and her place in the family. This also shows the darkness she is truly capable of and the price of secrets.

Thoughts:
I loved this one even more than the first book. It was slow but kept me engaged. And the writing style was everything, it was just so poetic and light and straightforward, like you could have read 100 pages but they would feel like 10. The characters are flawed but still relatable. This book has all the summer vibes. I personally love when the narrator is unreliable. The only thing that I didn't like was how the whole ghost thing was overdone.

Favourite character: Yardley Sinclair

Songs that remind me of this book:
Summer of love by Shawn Mendes
Hate that I love you by Rihanna
This is me trying by Taylor Swift

Favourite quote:
"I will, in a small way, in a limited way, move on".
~Caroline Lennox Taft Sinclair
