Jaded, Bearded, Wolfish is the story of Zach and Sam. Zach who was burned by his now ex-fiance over a year ago and is still hating on all girls. They cannot be trusted. Everyone breaks up eventually. No point even trying to start anything as it will just end in heartbreak. Again. So yeah. He is not very friendly to the opposite sex, especially when they are not bad looking.

And Sam. Sam who is one of those bubbly, chatty. friendly girls who is all about the hearts and flowers, rainbows and unicorns. Pretty much the exact opposite of Zach. She wants someone like in the romantical movies she watches. She wants someone who will sing her a song in the middle of a crowded room. Who will make the big romantic gestures. Someone who treats her right. And that is what she has in her boyfriend August. She is not in love with him or anything, at least not yet, but they could get there. He is always saying sweet things and doing things to show he cares. Sure he gets caught up in his band practice and sometimes misses dates with her, but he makes up for it right?

When Sam starts working at the haunted house with Zach, in the werewolf's den with him, things are a bit tense. At first he is happy to have her there, when he didn't know she was a she. He knew Sam was starting and figured that was a guy. Once she takes her mask off it is not good. Only they keep getting put in situations together and neither can really stop the attraction from growing between them. Will Sam break it off with August and start something with Zach? Will Zach get over his past and be ready to move on, to try again with Sam? Oh this was a fun one to read. I loved both of them and this world the author created. If you have read the prior books in the series you know how awesome it is. If not, no worries, this is a standalone, and you can always go back and read them afterwards. They are all amazing and I love them!
