This was laughably awful. It feels like a horrible watpad story by a 14 year old. I listened to the entirety, and the ending resolved nothing. The "twist" could be seen from miles away. What an odd read. Why was red so sweaty and gross all the time? What moved her to not wear the coat, in the end? Who was Ashlee supposed to be? Ashlee's over use of the words 'sad face' and anything ending in 'emoji' made me cringe. Talk to ANY 20-something - no one speaks like this! There was useless, pointless sex all over the place and an over-use of the word 'cum.' Get over it.

While I did not enjoy this, as it was largely distressing for me personally. The authors way of distinctly distinguishing each character was incredible. They each had a unique tone and personality, that I did in fact appreciate. With that being said I wasn’t fulfilled enough by the resolution to have endured the darkness and emotional topics. I may or may not read by this author again. Likely not.
