Loved this audiobook. I didn't know much of Jessica Simpson's story in advance and I was enthralled the whole time. This was so wonderful and I feel like Jess and I could be besties! Hearing her read her book, listening to her become emotional at certain points, it was very endearing. Highly recommend!

I didn’t really love Jessica Simpson as I was growing up. I was a Britney fan. I didn’t connect with Jessica’s music. But I was recently listening to a podcast that talked about her book and i was intrigued. And her audio book was her reading and included new music. So j downloaded Libby, borrowed from my library and started listening.
Wow. I know it’s her story but what a story she told. I knew the music industry has been tough on woman, but no idea how tough. And all the things she’s been through. The abuse, the bullying, the crazy relationships especially with John Meyer. I mean I knew he was a womanizer. But holy smokes... and the jealousy that Nick had which ultimately lead to their separation and how petty and mean he was.
I have so much respect for her. Im so glad she’s worth over about a billion dollars! Im glad she designs clothes for the regular woman. And glad she’s in a better place now and found the help she needed so she can share her amazing story with us. Kudos to you Jessi a Simpson. I wasn’t a huge fan before but I am now. ❤️
