After my comment on the last book read, here we have another one. I liked this one but as my husband pointed out, it's not the children that have prejudices - it's learned behaviour.

An excellent message. Rhyming is always fun in a read aloud.

I honestly can not wait to read this at Story Time! Not only is it such a wonderful story and idea, but it has a sweet sing-song flow to it that will be enjoyed by all that read or hear it. No matter what is going on right now with the world, if we keep reading stories like this one to our kids, we are going to be just fine in the end!

YES! I love that more and more books about inclusion and kindness are making their way onto the market. I read Each Kindness every year, and this year I added I Walk with Vanessa, but as soon as I read this one, I knew it had to be added as well. Anyone who teaches wants all students to feel welcome in their school and classroom, and reading this book with them will help everyone realize that diversity is what makes our world an amazing place.
