Manly okayish and repetitive smut (as expected) and not much happening. The kinks were a little too weird for me. He is just abusive and she cannot stand up for herself. She literally screams: „I am not like other girls and I am naïve as fuck, so pls fuck me until I cry. Still, I liked the books more than the movies, which I watched a while ago. 

PS: I NEVER WANT TO HEAR AN „OH GOD“ OR „HOLY -WHATEVER-„ FROM HER AGAIN.

PPPS: despite my hate, I am currently 200 pages into the second book. Apparently everything about him can get worse (the kink and the gaslighting and manipulation).

Seemed like the right time to finally give this a shot, was not disappointed. I am slightly baffled as to what made this one particular erotic novel become the absolute pop culture phenomenon that it did, but I have no complaints

I will be very blunt. 

I read this when I was 15 (too young, I know), and even at the time I could not believe that a grown adult wrote this. It reads like a bad fanfic written by a teen. 

I am not even going to get into this abusive relationship depicted as romantic, and somehow desirable. Shameful.

Jag tyckte att den här boken var underhållande och definitivt spicy. Om jag ska försöka förklara boken så är den förvånansvärt lik Twilight, fast lite mer spicy som sagt. 

Boken handlar om Ana som är väldigt oskuldsfull och egentligen en helt vanlig tjej. Men sedan träffar hon Christian som inte är speciellt oskuldsfull, faktum är att han är motsatsen till oskuldsfull. Ana och Christian lever dock i olika världar och Christians har dina demoner medan Ana lever ett vanligt liv. Deras olikheter riskerar att förstöra deras relation, kommer Ana och Christian att kunna förändras för varandra eller är deras relation ämnad att gå förlorad?

Detta är första boken i en trilogi. Trilogin finns även berättad ur Christians pov men läs trilogin från Anas pov först. Rekommenderar boken till de som vill ha något spicy och inte har något emot mörka böcker. Definitivt 18+.
