I love flipping to random pages in this book when I need inspiration, motivation, or just a good laugh. Great asset for fiction and nonfiction writers alike (I'm both!)

Exactly what it says on the tin. It’s useful, I plan on relistening and following all the challenges to help my writing.

I had this as an audiobook but I bet it would be a great paper book where you could read 1 a day or 1 a week... which I suspect is how it is supposed to be read. It is good though to just read straight through as I did.

This book was great! It helped boost my confidence about writing and made me excited to create. There were so many great quotes and pieces of advice that I found myself highlighting more than I normally do in other books. This will be a book I revist as I continue on my writing journey.

"If you put off your dreams today, you create the momentum to put them off all the way to your deathbed."
I came across this book on the National Novel Writing Month website, recognized that I was in need of some serious pepping up, and immediately checked a copy out from the library. I really enjoyed it and was happy to find that many (if not all) of the worries, fears, and doubts that run through my mind as I (try to) work on my writing are shared by others out there. The book succeeded in pepping me up and helped me to recognize and let go of some damaging worries and doubts that have hampered me, and I’m really glad I read it!

Exactly what it says on the tin. Read when you feel particularly down about your stupidity.
