One word to describe this book: wholesome.
I found this book an incredibly lovely read. It was a bit of a slow start but I really loved the characters and how the lives of Emma and Thurston intersected. I thought it was well written to continue hearing each of their seperate perspectives in each chapter, even after they’d met.
As I approached the end of the book, I thought the ending would be rushed. But it was perfect. It wrapped up the characters while also leaving their stories up to my imagination.
I found this book wholesome. I felt uplifted reading it - laughing and wanting to cry. I am very content and would happily read this book again. It has become a comfort book for me. One I’ll return to when I’m looking for this feeling again.
