What a great book! This book had a little bit of everything in it and I could not put it down! I wanted so much more to the story!

Easy and fun. Not a lot of depth.

This was...different. I have loved Meyer's writing in the past, even the cringey parts, because her characters and stories just sucked me in so hard and I lived in her words. This one was more cringey, less intrigue, less...everything. I think I could've loved a spy story, but as it was there were moments that made me smile but it all felt rather lacklustre overall. The story wasn't surprising enough, the twists were predictable. Overall, just meh.

Similar writing style as The Host. In fact, the protagonist here felt like the same person. I loved The Host more because of the world building. The chemist is set in our day- not overly exciting. The romance was cheesy -but who cares? It's fun and I am a forgiving fan. ;)
Overall, a sometimes fast-paced read but this is in no way a thriller. You know from the start everyone is going to be OK and happy. So there's no nail-biting.
A little too much talk about guns- who cares about the weight, size and name of guns anyway? It was overkill and I skimmed those parts.

She dedicates this to Jason Bourne- I have only watched the movies and not read the books but I suspect this is not quite in that league.
Overall, fun characters and lovable dogs.

The premise is wonderful, the execution is disappointing. I did not find any of the characters believable at all. They were stereotypes. The intimacy in this book reminded me of a "formatted for tv" movie where they take out anything PG-13.

I read this book in two days. It was a light, fun read. I feel like I could have been more connected to the characters, and the characters could have been more connected to each other, but it was a good read anyway.

Was so invested in this!! Ex-agent on the run from her job. This was so gripping. The writing was amazing. The romance in this was living for it!! Pick this up if you like adult spy thrillers. Now I can say I have read every book by Stephenie Meyer!!

Boring. Predictable. Dull. Those three words are all I need to describe this book.
