Kennedy Ryan has written the best basketball romance series and I will take no other opinions on this matter.

Book 3 in the Hoops series focuses on Lotus. I was dying to know more about Lotus after being introduced to her character in Book 1 (Long Shot) and it surpassed my expectations. This story was deep, healing, and sensual. (Is that okay to say about a book?! lmao)

✨ basketball romance
✨ single dad
✨ friends to lovers
✨ age gap
✨ baddie FMC
✨ dirty talking MMC

A true masterpiece with so many beautiful, healing moments between this couple. This is a true love story from start to finish. There are so many elements to this story that hit you in the heart but Kennedy Ryan puts you back together at the end, I promise!

I absolutely LOVED this book. I’ve read the entire hoop series and this one was by far my favorite. I adore Lotus, just as much as I adored Iris. The thing that stood out to me in this book is the bits of spirituality and the love story in general. Romantic, and Heartwarming!

So excited to read Lotus’ story!! I’ve been obsessed with her since she showed up in Iris’ story. If you love strong but broken, independent women who fall for too good to be true but is true and is good men, this is for you.

I’m so glad I got back into Kennedy Ryan’s work because I loved Reel but also reading it was so painful at times that I never delved into the rest of her backlist. But I’m seriously so glad I did because this is literally by far one of my favorite couples I’ve read about this year - they go through so much in this book but they combat it all so well and I suprisingly didn’t feel like what they gave throughout the book was too much too quickly. I mean obviously it’s a lot in one book and probably one of the huge crises/hospital trips in this book could have been cut because it was a lot, but also everything served a purpose and was amazing written and discussed
