The author wrote the characters completely in character, to the point where I could hear each person speak their lines. It was so real and vivid. I just wish the first half of this series wasn't so short. The story arc completely threw me off.

I found "A Matter of Time" a great episode from season 2 - particularly haunting as the team cannot save SG-10 from their predicament. The book immediately follows on from these events in the hope they can save the team using technology from another planet.

The pace of the book was a little slow in places, but I found it enjoyable and engaging.

Good book. The only issue that I have is that this book leaves you with a note saying "Concluded in" another book.
