"All I can think about is how much I want to live.

I moved to New York City a month ago to become the best journalist the world had ever seen. To find the greatest stories never told. And now here I am Henry Parker, twenty-four years old and weary beyond rational thought, a bullet one trigger pull from ending my life.

I can't run. Running is all Amanda and I have done for the past seventy-two hours. And I'm tired. Tired of knowing the truth and not being able to tell it.

Five minutes ago I thought I had the story all figured out.

I knew that both of these men one an FBI agent, the other an assassin& wanted me dead, but for very different reasons.

If I die tonight more people will die tomorrow." (From Amazon)

I enjoyed this suspense thriller...it reminded me of Harlan Coben.

Good action thriller where the protagonist relies on wits to elude separate groups of people trying to kill him at the same time he tries to clear his name and salvage his reputation. The only knock I have is with some of the geography I'm familiar with being off.

Even though I read this a long time ago I can still recall that this was such a good book. Packed with nonstop action and it kept me hooked until the very end!

A pure waste of time. Very cheesy, unnatural situations, lackluster characters, implausible dynamics and completely half-baked.

A great thriller. it will keep you begging for more. And it puts an inside view in the trials of an American Journalist.

I loved the humor that Pinter intertwined into the high suspense of the novel. It was also interesting how he switched perspectives. At first it was disconcerting but I grew to like it. Amanda is the most likable character in the book. Parts of it are predictable but Pinter manages to throw in some curve balls. All in all it's a good read if you want something fast-paced.
