This comic is still good if you aren't familiar with the characters and tropes of Archie comics, but is SO much better if you are. The writers did a brilliant job of adapting the Riverdale universe to a zombie apocalypse. Of COURSE Jughead and Sabrina started it all. Of COURSE the broken down jalopy won't start as Archie is trying to escape. This is fantastic.

I didn't know what to expect but ended up loving the book. Can't wait to get my hands of volume two. Touches all the zombie tropes and still manages to be memorable.

I’m not that big of a fan of zombies...nor Archie comic’s...so why is it I enjoy them this much together? This comic was so enjoyable and I can’t wait to read more!!!

Unfortunately I've never read any Archie comics, but I loved Augirre-Sacasa's horror twist on the characters. I thought the first few issues were stronger than the last, but I'm definitely hooked and can't wait for volume 2!

Unbelievably fun, with fantastic, adult themes woven into the story. I can't wait for book 2.
