I listened to the audiobook, and it was definitely a chilling and unexpected story with engaging characters. However, with all of the suspense-building and various characters with odd motives around it left a lot of loose threads.

This book is popular for a reason! At times I did feel like the pace was moving a bit slower than I’d like, but all in all it was a good binge-audio listen! The narrators are unreliable

so there were lots of unpredictable plot twists. Highly recommend this crime-mystery.

I’m never one to figure out a thriller’s twist, but even without going into this knowing there was a big, shocking twist, I’m pretty sure I would have figured it out before the reveal.

the twist, holy shit

This book is so good! If you ignore the obvious patient/client violations, this story is so well written. I loved it from start to finish, completely dedicated an entire afternoon to reading this book from start to finish! I'm so so glad I read this, 0.25 stars off simply for the unrealistic patient/client relationship and privileges that would seriously never fly irl
