It was ok but nothing special to set it apart from others of this genre. I had the baddy picked right early on and was proved correct. Liked the idea of living in a tree house - how cool! Axel seemed your typical trope ex military uber alpha with Gareth being the opposite, slim, small and cute. It was an easy going read that put me in mind of there being a genre called M/M Harlequin!
A 3.5 star, reduced to 3 for GR

Ending was predictable. I enjoyed the narrator though. Well written story and lots of fun.
