Martha Jean and Adeline took me out with their fight scene. When FAAFO meets Keeping It Real.

Listening to this made mw realize how little of the Rose sisters was mentioned in the other 5 books. But either way I’m excited to hear their story. I’m also kinda bummed that the changes narrators mid series but this narrator isn’t so bad

It's awesome that this book focused on love in your golden years, without losing any of the passion or desire that the author is known for. Job well done!

This book was hilarious. Martha Jean (Samiyah’s mother) and Adeline (Claudia’s mother) both have their sights set on the eldest Rose man, Christopher. They clash as they both try to prove they are the better woman.

Martha Jean was something else as always. The fight scene shouldn’t have been so funny to me, but it was. Adeline had to show her, she still had skills with that cane.

The winner of Christopher Rose’s heart was predictable but still sweet. I enjoyed this novella and how entertaining the story was. I could use more of Martha Jean in the future.

There were so many laugh out loud moments in this book. I'm so glad that Daddy Rose's partner was who I thought it was. It just made so much sense.
