It was a good book, not my favorite but it was good. I understand how the boys couls relate to Oogy but in a way it was different. I didn't like how there was unneccessary details throughout the story. But I loved how he started from the very beginning of Oogy's story. From the start of how he became the dog he is, from the dog he was when he was first brought to the Ardmore hospital. Overall I'd rate this book a 3 out of 5 stars.

Only a mediocre book. Oogy did get through some great stuff but the book seemed bland.

Normally I turn to mush when it comes to these animal books but this one just seemed like torture to read. Yes, I loved Oogy and his story but seriously is any family that perfect? The parts about Oogy I enjoyed but the Levin family made me feel like I was in Stepfordville. I don't recommend it at all.

The writer isn't a great writer but the story is worth it! The story is a sweet one and reading it I just wanted to give Oogy a huge hug! What a sweet story!
