Really really really loved this one ♥️♥️♥️ I don't know what about it made it so special for me but I loved the characters, loved their story, just loved.

Really disliked Penny, she was very judgemental and horrible especially towards her mother.
The romance was underwhelming and the book overall was boring.

Personal issues really help me fly through books! Top tip: when you're trying to not think about certain things or ignore shit, just dive into a good book. Anyway, this book... mixed feelings from start to finish.

At times it was kind of slow to get through. There were paragraphs I might have skipped because it was a little boring compared to the rest - a bad habit of mine that from time to time comes out. But I learned to really like Choi's writing and somewhere along the texts between Penny and Sam, I lost myself and completely dove into the story.

I could really relate to Penny. I don't feel much for decorations unless it's things close to my heart, such as a gifted fake succulent from a close friend. I could REALLY relate to texting with people. I also find texting so much easier than actually socializing IRL. It was so interesting to see Penny's and Sam' stories develop into one. I like how somewhat destiny brought them together on the Sixth Street.

I gave it a 3.5 stars because it was a good read but I can't say it was the best or one of the best. I enjoyed it and I liked the character developments in the book. But some parts were slow and hard to read, can't deny that.

School has started up and I just don't have time for any audiobooks or reading in general. Also, I wasn't enjoying it that much and I'm very picky when it comes to contemporary reads.

I do want to pick it up in the future and try again.
