Mansion Murder Mystery

Classic whodunit set in an modern times with a quirky 1920's backdrop. I liked the use of the 1920's party to help remove some of the technological aspects that could be involved in today's murder cases. This left us to pick up classic clues typical of a murder mystery and begin piecing things together.

The characters all had very different feelings about them and I like the slow reveal of possible motives for each one, while trying to decipher our main characters nerves throughout. Although the characters felt complex I didn't gel with any of them so when the murderer was revealed there was no emotional attachment for me.

The murderer reveal for me was not a huge surprise but I liked a few twists towards the end which I didn't see coming with a couple of character's backstories.

A solid murder mystery that I think we be gripping for slightly younger reader's than myself. Great to dive into for the spooky season.
