A classic first published in 1902, this 45 page book is jam-packed with thoughts on the nature of man. With gems such as: “Cherish your visions; cherish your ideals; cherish the music that stirs in your heart, the beauty that forms in your mind, the loveliness that drapes your purest thoughts, for out of them will grow all delightful conditions...”. This book is not to be read but to be absorbed into your very consciousness.

come see me talk more about books over at my twitter!
while it did start to go a bit left-field when he began talking about slaves, and was perhaps a little black-and-white in its approach, this super-quick, relatively easy read has a lot of concepts you can quickly draw from and apply, and has clearly influenced a lot of modern schools of thought. worth the read if only because it's so short and probably won't feel like a time-waster if you don't end up enjoying it.

Came at a good time, your future really depends on your outlook.
Think bright, and even the bad stuff will seem better.
Think dull, and you'll be stuck in a bad mood.
Very common sense but the way he writes about it is still profound.

Some excellent thoughts in this little book, and one that will bear up to repeated readings.

A good, short summary about the power of our thoughts in determining our lives. This is a book I will refer back to once a year.

Great Read for the Soul
I enjoyed this book. Very simple and to the point! Makes you change your thought process on life. I definitely will read this again as a fresher.

This was a nice read and reminder, but nothing particularly struck a chord with me. I'd recommend it if this is the first book of its kind you're trying out. Otherwise, it's probably not worth reading

Want to put your thoughts aligned with your dreams? This is a good book for you. You reap whatever you sow is the premise of this book. I particularly liked the ending of this book, "Peace be still".
