3,5 stars // My friend's edition of Magnus Chase and the Hammer of Thor had this story in it, so I decided to read the story while at her house. It's a nice short story, and I enjoyed it, but as with most short stories it felt too short and I would have loved for this to have happened in one of the actual books instead.

That's fun, an okay short story. But not really memorable for me, I feel like I would forget about it as soon as I start another book. The only thing that made me laugh out loud actually just Apollo's "Happy birthday, Percy Jackson."

New to this series/author. Didn’t find this that exciting or interesting. I will try a full length as it’s on a list of books I’m working my way slowly through. I hope full length is better.

I tried not to panic. Sadly, this wasn’t the first time I’d been thrown off a skyscraper.

This was such a wonderful, adventurous short story! I was expecting to like it as much as I usually like Rick Riordan's side-stories, but unfortunately, this didn't meet my expectations. I just think it doesn't bring a lot to the PJO universe. Still, it was amazing and I had missed Grover so much it was such a pleasure to read of him again!
