I loved the first book, but this once instantly took a nose dive off the deep end “add all the plot points and do nothing with them” and “let’s make the character bipolar.”

Emilia was so strong and then she became so insufferable.

Aahhhhh that ending! The second half of this book was fantastic! I could not put it down! I really enjoyed the whole story.

One of my theories was correct and I have another theory which I hope will be revealed in the next book.

Plots within plots. Lies, secrets, and deception lurk around every corner. Emilia and Wrath's story just got a whole lot more complicated.
Kerri Maniscalco is notorious for her veiled storytelling, and Kingdom of the Cursed is another example of her expertise in clever labyrinthine mystery weaving. Truly an infuriating delight to read -- there's so much at stake and I'm all in for the ride! Had me on the edge of my seat and craving more!

Okay so I don't know where to begin. I liked this book a lot more than the first one!! Emilia and Wrath's chemistry is incredible, omg.
The main aspect that distinguished this from the first book for me was that some of the plot points finally made sense. There's still a lot of things I don't really understand so I hope that in book three, everything will be tied together.
Wrath... I love that man (demon? prince? All of them!). Girl, the way I was giggling and kicking my feet about some of the things he said... he's so protective, too, but not in an unsettling or suffocating way.
Emilia's character development throughout this book was crazy but it didn't feel far fetched. It actually made sense why she would react in certain ways and she's such a badass now, I love it. (I don't know if I wanna be her or be with her😔💃🏻) Her actions were still a little reckless but definitely less so than in book 1, which was a relief.
This book was also surprisingly funny, I laughed out loud several times.
Last aspect: I really love all of the Princes, they're so funny?? Yes, they're violent and prone to their respective sins but you know... I just love their vibes (especially Gluttony tbh).
See yall for book three xx

This one was NOTHING like book 1, and most definitely nothing like Kerri's debut series. There was hardly any plot buried beneath all of the unnecessary graphic sex. And, Emilia was so not a badass in this one at all. She kept repeating her "mission" but never had any follow through because of all of her "desires".  She was super annoying, and I'm not a prude by any means, and I'm all for females exploring their right to their desires, but for being an 18 year that's never really been introduced to anything sexual, other than trashy novels, she was way too interested and distracted by sex, and she had no real character development beyond it.

The story hardly had any development, the characters were so one dimensional, and the "plot twists" were super predicable. There were only a few bits of actual story in between all of the smut that actually kept me going. But, the graphic sex was so much that I honestly don't know if I will be reading the third back, despite how badly I want to know how it all ends.
