This started really promising. I was really excited when Emilia began tapping into her powers more, and I was really looking forward to seeing her learn more dark magic.

It all kind of fell apart though. The last quarter of the book rushed through so much? She literally figures out everything magically so quickly. Emilia was starting to have good character development, but all of a sudden she was back to doing things without thinking again, yet never facing any real consequences. Her entire personality is just back and forth hating and loving Wrath. I don't understand how Wrath has so much patience for her. I think the devil thing was supposed to shock us, but it was wildly obvious. Where is the plot????

Also, the training chapter was wildly strange and out of character for Wrath. It crossed so many lines. I wish we had seen his powerful fury more since it's mentioned so much, but definitely not in this way.

I was bonked over the head with horniness. Good lord this book is horny. The characters' actions don't make much sense because they're too busy being horny.

This was so much better than the first book. I'm extremely excited for the 3rd in the series.

SpoilerWhat bothered me in book 1 was that by the end it made it seem like there will be a love triangle ( which is not enjoyable in many cases) and that kind of made me feel upset in a way, because there will be only unnecessary and pointless drama. But I'm very relieved that the author herself confirmed that there will be none, what so ever.
