This is the perfect book for cuddling up in your sofa by the window, with a blanket and a cup of tea

This was PERFECTION. The supporting characters??? ABBIE? DAMIEN?!?!! This was a delicious age gap REVENGE romance and I just wowwww it was written so frickin well. I wanted to get drunk with Abbie and Cam and Kat and talk about how boys suck, and reminisce on old college days and eat pizza with them and yeah. Their pettiness and revenge tactics??? I CACKLED bc it reminded me of the companionship and support I have with my friends. And let’s talk about Damien: aka the most perfect man LITERALLY EVER. Hot as shit. Hilarious. Attentive. Knows what a woman wants

Homegirl needs a therapist and maybe some character growth

Overall, I liked the tropes, but the writing style wasn’t for me. AND OH MY GOD WAS SOME OF THE DIALOGUE SUPER CRINGY. The comment at the end when the mmc’s dad said he would have dated Abbie if he was a few years earlier WAS SO OUT OF POCKET

Rounded up from 3.5

I was looking for a cute Christmas read and it ticked all the boxes - Damien was a DREAM.

The dirty talk slipped into OTT for me at times.

Loved the Legally Blonde easter eggs as it's a favourite movie (champagne that celebrities like Reece Witherspoon and Luke Wilson would drink!!)

It was also very nice to have a woman say she doesn't want kids and not miraculously have her mind changed by the end.

I've not read any of the other books in this series so the Thanksgiving part was a bit of an information overload of names and how couples got together etc but aside from that you wouldn't have to read the others to enjoy the characters in this.
