I was so confused but not disliking the first two thirds then it took an even weirder turn and I struggled to finish, I was just reading words that made no sense.

The writing in this book was very poetic in the best way, it was not intrusive to the story itself but still beautiful. The whimsical atmosphere was also very skilfully done. The story however was lacking for me. It is about a professor that cheats to his wife and there are just too many of those. There is a sort of political mystery that develops at the end and the metaphor is supposed to be the point of the book, but it is too much in the back burner for me, I would have loved more focus on there rather than in the professor himself.
