Part of my annoyance from the beginning of this book was that Shayna Thibodeaux narrated this pretty similarly to the previous book in the series (which I was not the biggest fan of). Also her Australian accent was painful to listen to. But I still wanted to give this book a chance because I liked these characters and their oblivious longing for each other in the other 2 books.

I was a little disappointed when Oliver so quickly just
told her he was in love with her with little to no lead up or fanfare. Even though it's illogical, I was hoping for more of the cliché "we're obviously into each other but going to stew in sexual tension and not admit it".

Lola's bullshit ideas about breaking up with Oliver to get her work done was annoying and made me hate her so much. But then the way Oliver immediately went on a date with someone else might have been even more nonsensical and just destroyed the moral high ground he had held.

Overall, I enjoyed the first half of this much more than the second half, and I thought the sex scenes were better than in either of the other 2 previous books, but ultimately still wouldn't recommend this book

Christina Lauren never disappoints, and they've scored again. Oliver and Lola are both likable, realistic characters that made me laugh and fall in love with them. Well worth the read.

3.5? I don't really have any complaints... But something is off...
