Yes

I started this book unsure, but I’m so glad I stuck with it. The way that Penryn is written is everything I love to see in a main character.

This is some end times shit. This is fairly obviously self-published, but not necessarily in a bad way. I read it in an afternoon, and I'm actually happy the sequel isn't out yet, on account of I don't know how much I like it/but I would've started reading it anyway. Basically: Angels are real, The End Times showed up, but Gabriel got murdered before he could really convey his message. And apparently God only talks to Gabe - none of the other angels know what's up, just that it's human smashing time.

Different, exciting, and decently written. I was unhappy with the ending and my unanswered questions. I guess that's what the second book is there for though. Duh.

4.5/5 I would give this 5/5 but there are just a couple of things that I don't really understand. But I loved this book, the world is amazing and Raffe I love him and I did not expect what happens - just ordered the second book can't wait to start it!!!!

This is one of my favourite books of all time. If you're looking for a good dystopian/angel book with a unique plot and strong characters, this book is for you. It also isn't full of romance, but there is some if you like it. It is very fast-paced and full of action. A recommend this to anyone and everyone.

I enjoyed this book quite a bit surprisingly! The whole "angels and demons" thing seems to be used quite often and gets pretty old but I almost instantly fell in love with Raffe! Penryn and Raffe's interactions were just hilarious. The book has an interesting twist at the end as well. I started the book yesterday and found myself frantically turning pages to find out what happens next. Can't wait to read the next book in the series!

A great book! Haven't read a really good fantasy for a while. This book is packed with action, adventure, love, sacrifice, family, and most importantly: Angels!! And our badass heroine, Penryn.
I'm still rooting for the - hopefully to become - Raphael And Penryn Ship! These dudes are so hot and driven by determination together. And they both went through a lot. Especially little Paige. Now that I finished the book, it occurred to me that I love her so much. Plus, I'm really glad that she got to walk on her legs again! - although not by a good reason - but nevertheless, her becoming healthy again needs to be celebrated! After all, the book is about Penryn trying to rescue her little sister from the angels. Looking forward to the next book! Will start it soon.
