Ruby and Oliver face a confusing day at school when they have a fill-in teacher who wants them to do maths worksheets instead of the usual show and tell activity. Plus, the besties are separated when Ruby gets Oliver in trouble for talking in class. When the teacher leaves the room, another student shows everyone how to make fart noises with their armpits. Ruby writes a sweet little song on her ukulele to ask for Oliver's forgiveness - of course they make up. A very fun story following a day in the life of an early primary school student, plus I love the themes of kindness, friendship, mistakes and forgiveness.
