“I can't believe I get to do this with you. Sometimes I just look at you and I can't believe this is my life, that this is our home.”
Logan has been through something absolutely horrific when a freak car accident takes his family from him. After spiraling into his grief for a few years, the small town he lives in lacks any sort of empathy and treats him terribly. My biggest questions was why wouldn’t he just leave? His close friends would understand that he can’t even walk into a grocery store or family dinner without being assaulted or dismissed.
Sammy was what he needed though. After a rocky start, these two fell in love fast and figured out how to fit into each other’s lives. They both got the family they were craving since each of theirs are lacking. My favorite part of Sammy is that he never shied away from hearing about Logan’s wife and daughter and was totally cool with displaying photos if it will bring Logan back out.
Beth is the worst though.
