If you don't want reminders of the fear you had at the beginning of Covid or if you lost a loved one from the virus, you might not want to read this. When Spanish Flu arrived the fears were very similar to what we experienced. By the way, this book was published in 2018 before we ever heard of Covid.

The family lives at a funeral home, and they do the work of preparing bodies for burial. There are scenes in the embalming room and description of what happens there. They also talk about how to prepare the bodies for viewing. It's not graphic, but it might bother some people.
