As with all of Dr. Faith’s work, this audiobook is easy to follow, written in relatable language (unless you strongly dislike swearing), is backed by much research and is absolutely inclusive. On top of her accolades and long career, she is also a Mom of kids who are just reaching adulthood. Each section is super short and to the point - and most are vast, varied derivatives if “don’t be a dick”. Many contain real-life examples to further clarify. I heartily recommend this book to adults of all ages.

The audiobook is read fabulously by the author.

I'm 33, and grew up with a social worker as a dad who was woke about a lot of this stuff, so for me it was a lot of really good reminders about things. I think it's a great book for any adult, and especially kids getting out there on their own in their teens and 20's. easy to read, straight up advice, I look forward to reading more of her books that might go deeper into a couple of these adulting skills to improve my awareness and "the practice of being my best self. "

Really quick read. Not quite as practical as I was hoping for.
Plenty of adult language--as the title does suggest. I was hoping for this to be relatable, but it just came off as trying too hard to appeal to a pretty narrow audience. Subjects are only superficially touched upon.

I liked it a lot!

Just hate when people include politics. I don't need that in my reading, it's in our faces everyday.

Don't be a dick. Don't touch what's not yours = physical and mental. You are not in charge of other people emotions. Control your shit and let them control theirs.
