I did want to enjoy this, the back of the book promised big conflict, romance, tension and what I got was a whiny girl who should have been sent to college and to get a job for a few years before she was involved in the events of the first book even.

If you're asking yourself if you love him during what is basically your honeymoon you got married too fast. The fact that you spent six months with another man? That you didn't jump his bones the minute you got back? Maybe the two of you have issues you need to deal with before getting caught up in ceremonies. FFS Talk already, get someone to help you, stop taking their "of course he loves you" and start asking you mum, particualarly, what the hell she means by that.

It wasn't a bad read, it's just the conflict was all in Kate's head, she annoyed the heck out of me (and FYI Henry, tell her to get her ass up to the real world instead of being happy she wants to spend her whole time down with you, she needs more life experience)

I'm sorry, this did come across as a "marry in haste, repent at leisure" scenario, and a little bit of real delayed gratification with the two of them rather than rushing into stuff would have been a good idea.

I'm curious to know how the series goes on, but I hope Kate isn't as whiny in the next one.

I wanted to strangle, kill, mutilate, beat up, decapitate, and burn Kate. She. Sucks.

And what's with the licking hands thing?

Firstly I'd like to thank HarlequinTeen and NetGalley for giving me the opportuntiy to review Goddess Interrupted, I was so thrilled to get my confirmation email. After reading The Goddess Test I was left dying for more.

What to say except...I LOVED IT!!! Aimee Carter has given us a fantastic, thrilling, nail bitting continuation in her Goddess Test series. This book has more action, more suspense and so many twists and turns you'll be on the edge of your seat.

I must admit this book it plays with your emotions. At times I really felt for Kate and had my little teary moments while others I was so frustrated with a certain Henry aka Hades (let me say he does justice to that name!), at one point I wanted to jump in the book and give him a good slap around the ears. Even through those feelings I still hung onto every word, and the ending was most definitely a jaw dropping moment. Aimee has most definitely given us a 'gotta have the next book NOW' cliff-hanger, very well done!

This book starts 6 months after The Goddess Test when Kate is returning from her holiday and ready to start her 6 months with Henry. From the first day she arrives back all hell breaks loose in the underworld. We're taken on quite a ride. We have all our old characters back and meet a few new ones, one in particular that also needs a kick in the pants (Haha I had too).

I don't want to give too much away so I'll just say that if you haven't read this series yet than go get your copy of The Goddess Test and start now so your ready for when this amazing book gets released.

This book had so much Potential. It ended up kinda being a flop..... And the ending, it was not necessary ..... ( and it was not just the cliff hanger.)

Okay, I'm gonna be honest. This book would have received a three star rating if not for the ending. Kate comes back and then throws a hissy fit about Henry not really loving her. She complains that he hasn't once kissed her or told her he loved her since she's returned. And how long has she been back? One day. Really. I get how you might be insecure about this but wait a while and let things settle down. There's a lot going on. You've just been made a goddess and are about to be crowned Queen of the Underworld. The ending however was absolutely amazing and I will definitely be picking up the third book when it comes out.

After finishing the last page of THE GODDESS TEST, the first book in this series, I quite literally ran to the store and bought a copy of GODDESS INTERRUPTED. Well actually I drove, but it was quite fast driving.

Aimee Carter is a mastermind. She not only wrote one of the best books I have ever read, but has also created one of the best sequels I have ever read. I think she either is superhuman, or just knows exactly what I want.

Right from the very first page GODDESS INTERRUPTED takes off with Kate and Henry's new life. With Kate just recently becoming immortal, and even more recently moving in to the Underworld, there is a lot of stress in her life. Add to that a man she's supposed to rule with who shows little to no affection for her, a very angry and very powerful god after said man, AND a gorgeous ex-wife of said man who said man seems to still be in love with, well Kate has got a lot on her plate. This story is filled with drama, action, mystery, mythology, and a teeny bit of romance (well more than a teeny when it comes to a couple characters...). The story was never slow and had me turning page after page.

Along with the wonderful plot, the characters were still the ones I left in the first book. It's rare for me to connect and really love all of the characters of a book, but in this series I do. Aimee has created such wonderful characters that I just cannot get enough of! I'd have to say Henry is one of my favorite male characters of all time too!

Overall this was the perfect sequel to THE GODDESS TEST. I would honestly not change a thing about it, and if you haven't already started this series you need to! Right now!
