Let's just say it's a lot of fun and I want to go to the library and get the second book RIGHT NOW! So much fun reading this.

Just like the Lunar Chronicles this is another series that is just very easy to listen to as an audiobook. The book captured you within the 1st chapter and kept you interested throughout the entire book. I’m still not sure about the double POV but Marissa Meyer must like to write that his way. Also I did not guess at all the twist at the end. Will be reading the next book in the series.

I'm kinda torn between a 3 and 4 stars.
I love Meyer's writing - I loved the Lunar Chronicles series; I enjoyed but hut had problems with Heartless; and now Renegades.
The pacing was off for the first half of the book; nothing... really... happened?; and please don't get me started on the insta-love. I really wasn't a fan of Sketch so I had my fingers crossed for no romance between him and Nova, but I should have known better.
Honestly, if it weren't for the last few chapters (and that last paragraph), it would have been less then a three star.

This was literally just a rewrite of Steelheart written by a significantly worse writer, with a more feminine angle. Not bad if you didn't know that you could get the same story from a better author.

I LOVED Renegades!!! It was really well written, and it was fast paced and exciting! I already bought Archenemies, and I can't wait to find out what happens to Nova and Adrian! Also: if you're looking to read a book by Marrissa Meyer, I liked Cinder, but I thought Renegades was much better! Oh- and another thing I loved about Renegades was how some things were super predictable, while others were so unexpected.
