The book feels slow to start but it's purposeful and builds to this insane and gory crescendo. Really love this take on Sasquatch lore!

I saw this being recommended on BookTok and I am SO glad I tried it ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

It was a very easy read, in that I didnโ€™t have to stumble over difficult words or think too much about who was who. A Bachelor-esque TV show gone very, very wrong! ๐Ÿ™Š Once I picked it up, I could hardly put it back down.

Patricia really did want to cuddle, she just had a horrifically bloody way of showing it ๐Ÿ˜‚ I also LOVE that Renne discovered her sexuality (say gay yโ€™all!) and let Patricia kill Jeremy ๐Ÿ™‚โ€โ†”๏ธ

4 out of 5 stars for me, thank you โœจ What a read ๐Ÿณ๏ธโ€๐ŸŒˆ

A beautiful palate cleanser, fast paced, funny and tense especially near the end. My main guilty pleasure is reality-TV, and the part which focuses on the competition just before the horrors starts is just as much fun!

Samantha Allen made incredible characters who you'll love to hate. All of them felt so distinct. Even with a 5 way split pov, every character has their own voice.

My single issue is actually with Renee's character.  She's supposed to be the main character but we get to spend little time with her. I wish the book was a bit longer so Renee's (very cool) character arc would feel less rushed. This would also ad more padding to the ending. I'll chalk that up to this book being a fiction debut though! I will definitely pick up any future horror novels Samantha Allen writes.

This was slow in some areas and I didnโ€™t connect with it immediately, but Iโ€™m glad I stayed with it because I LOVED the ending. The writing is very descriptive, you get good character background, a good amount of blood and gore, and you have lgbt characters. Renee was my favorite character, sheโ€™s the smartest character and she finds herself through everything. I enjoyed the formatting of the book; some chapters were from character perspectives, some from blogs about the show, and some were love letters. Really cute ending. I have discovered every book I like I want a film adaptation for.

This was an interesting read, because it felt like I was reading a horror film (in a cool way). I wish it was a little longer to explain a few more things, but I believe it's so we can leave it up to our imagination about what actually happened and why.

This was the perfect thrill ride to pull me out of my reading slump. Once I started, it was difficult not to read the rest.
